Endometriosis

Pain, bleeding and cycle day kept in one place, so what you bring to a specialist is a record rather than a best guess.

Endometriosis appointments tend to turn on detail. How bad, how often, where in the cycle, what has changed since last time. That is a lot to hold in your head for the months between them.

Q.buzz lets you set your own questions and answer them in a few taps. You choose what the ends of a scale mean, in your own words, which matters when a plain one to ten doesn’t describe your pain at all. You can also tap where it hurts on a body map, so location is recorded the same way every time rather than described again from scratch.

A record kept around a cycle often includes:

  • pain, where it is and how bad, in your terms
  • bleeding, and the day of your cycle
  • fatigue, and what you had to cancel
  • medication taken, and whether it helped

You can reword a question months in and keep everything already recorded against it, so the record improves instead of starting over.

Once there are a couple of cycles in it, the shape is visible: which days are reliably worse, and what else moves with them. Download the record and take it with you. It is the difference between “it’s bad around day two” and showing what the last four cycles actually did.
